FRONTPAGE USERS
If you requested to have Frontpage Extensions installed on your site, you should NEVER use regular FTP to upload files. This will damage the extensions and cause major transfer problems with your site. Stick with one or the other all the time. You can still use FTP to view and delete files, you just can't upload files.

Note: We recommend disabling FP access (using your Admin Control Panel) when you've completed using FP to update your website, FP has a known security problem, when left enabled, anybody with FP can download your website..

If you are using FrontPage, you must create your new web on the "localhost" system. This is accomplished by selecting "create new web," and then entering "c:\mywebsite" (without the .com) in the line where it asks for the web location. Once you have completed your web on your computer, you can then select the "publish web" option from the file menu in FrontPage Explorer. You will be prompted for your domain name. You should enter http://yourname.com (all lowercase). Next it will ask for your username and password. Your username is always the domain name without the .com and should be all lowercase. The password is the one you chose when you activated the account. The password is case sensitive. After Frontpage validates your login info, it will begin to upload your files.

Creating a Web Page using FrontPage is real simple - From FrontPage, from the File Menu - select New - you have a choice - either a Page or a Web - Think of your needs, are you adding a page to your site or maybe you just want to create one (1) page. If you select Web, you;ll have many templates to choose from. Each one will guide you through the process.

Selecting Web can also import a website from the Internet

Selecting Import, You will be prompted to either import from a website on your PC or Network, or From the WWW / aka Internet.- check mark this one, and enter the url (ie www.mydomain.com) click next, This next window you can limit the number of pages, or how far down you wish to go.. (some sites have over 10 pages deep - not designed very well) - personally to make sure I get everything from my old provider I would "uncheck" limit pages. Click Next, before you Click Finish, make sure your connected to the Internet.

That's it.. your site is should now start downloading - If not - you'll porbably need to contact the hosting company.

If you have any problems or questions, please don't hesitate to contact OCC support.

How Do I upload to My Website:

This mean one of two things, 1) FrontPage extension was not installed, To verify login to your hsphere control panel, select the domain you wish to check, then click the "report" button, here you can review all options enabled for that domain. Look for FrontPage support - IF you do not see FrontPage support - You need to us and ask for Front Page to be installed.
