get your megabtye usage.
Note: You can get a rundown of your individual directories by altering
this command to look like the following:
du -s * | more
-
Check your ANONftp directories!
-
Use this command to change directories to your anonymous ftp directory:

-
Then again type:

Note 1: If you do not know your IP address, you may find it by typing this
command at the Telnet prompt:
-
nslookup yourdomainprefix
-
For example, if your domain name is xyz.com, you would type:

Note 2: Most users will not have their Anonymous FTP directory enabled.
If you do not use your ANONftp directory you do not need to preform step
two.
-
Check your email directories!
-
Change directories by typing:
-
Then type:
-
ls -ald yourUserID*
-
The resulting figures are in bytes (the * after the userid lets you list
all of your userid's at once, which is recommended).
-
Add up all three results to get your current total.
