How do I receive e-mail?
Your mail server is
mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain is your domain name. To read your
e-mail, you will need to use an e-mail program such as Eudora, Netscape
Messenger or Microsoft Outlook.
How do I setup Outlook Express?
These directions should work for most recent
Microsoft Outlook Express versions, running on Microsoft Windows 98 and
later.
Launch Outlook Express
Under "Tools" select "accounts..."
Select the "mail" tab.
If there are no accounts present, Please go to the next section of this
FAQ called Connection Wizard. If there is already an account and
you are ready to change your email address, continue reading this
section
Select the account by single-clicking on it.
Click the "Properties" button.
Under Mail Account, type in the name you would like to refer to this
account by.
Name: Your name
(i.e. John Doe or ACME Sales)
Email address: email-address-you-selected@your-domain-name.com
(i.e. john@thedoes.com or sales@acme.com)
Click the "Servers" tab and input these settings:
Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.your-domain-name.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: use the current
settings from your ISP
(i.e.mail.msn.com, mail.mindspring.com). Most ISP's provide this
for you. You will need to contact them to find out what is the
correct setting to make Outlook work on your ISP. If your ISP
says he does not have one, then you may use mail.your-domain-name.com
Account Name: email-address-you-selected@your-domain-name.com
(i.e. john@thedoes.com or sales@acme.com)
Password: password-you-chose (case sensitive)
Press "OK"
Press "Close"
